Food is Fundamental and also one of the biggest business sectors globally. Similarly; food is the largest domain and the backbone of our group. We believe that food is the key component for the health of any individual and that is why our food manufacturing companies aim to make Ugandans healthier and happier. We proudly own many flagship companies in various sectors of day to day needed food products such as Sugar, Wheat Flours, Vegetable Cooking Oils, Vegetable Bakery Fats and Drinking Water.

Sugar

We as MMP group are the 2nd Largest Sugar Producer in Uganda with the combined total annual production of over 500,000.00 metric tonnes of Sugar through our three main sugar manufacturing units namely Mayuge Sugar, Kamuli Sugar and GM Sugar. With the finest quality and most affordable pricing; our sugar is not only consumed and loved in Uganda but also in our neighbouring countries like Kenya, South Sudan, Burundi and so on. MMP Group is the pioneer in manufacturing of Industrial grade and pharmaceutical grade sugar with the production capacity of 16,000.00 metric tonnes per annum.

Wheat Flour

Wheat flour is another such product which is a part of daily meals. MMP Group is one of the leading producers of healthy, fortified and nutritious wheat flour that is carefully designed to enable a baker’s dreams to come true with the installed production capacity of 100,000.00 metric tonnes per annum; through our European make fully automatic manufacturing set up named Nile Agro located in Msese, Uganda. Today, our wheat flours have become the first choice for bakers and biscuit manufactures in Uganda and around.

Vegetable Cooking Oils

The agriculture in Uganda is quite diversified and few of the major cash crops grown in Uganda are oil seeds such as sunflower, cotton, soybeans, palm seeds and sesame. Due to this; MMP group has been working in the vegetable edible oil processing sector since 1997. We produce healthy, full of vitamins and rich nutrients, trans-fats free vegetable cooking oils made from cotton seeds, sunflower seeds and soybeans that is made to bring the flavours of your cooking to life. We are proud that we manufacture and supply around 100,000.00 metric tonnes annually through our manufacturing units located in Jinja and Lira.

Vegetable Bakery Fats

We are the leading producers and suppliers of bakery fats that are designed to meet the health needs of bakers while also exceeding their expectations of taste and texture of their products by enabling a rich nature about them. Our bakery fats are cholesterol, and they are fit for the health conscious consumer of baked foods. Whether you are looking to produce high quality and healthy cakes, biscuits, cookies or doughnuts, our vegetable baking fats are your obvious choice.

Mineral Water

Water is life. It is a common knowledge that river Nile originates from Uganda and it is a lifeline river for many small towns and cities located on banks the river Nile up to Egypt. The name Nile has been very inspirational to us and that is why we have named many of our companies after river Nile. Our Nile drinking water is drawn from the source of the River Nile to be a purified and refreshing treat. Over 50.00 Million bottles are produced annually by us with our latest purification and packaging systems which provide you with the cleanest and the safest drinking water; that keeps you healthily hydrated.

Confectionary

Confectionery is the art of making confections. which are food items that are rich in sugar and carbohydrates. In general, however. confectionery is divided into two broad and somewhat overlapping categories: bakers' confections and sugar confections. Bakers' confectionery, also called flour confections. includes principally sweet pastries, cakes, and similar baked goods. Baker's confectionery excludes everyday breads. and thus is a subset of products produced by a baker.Sugar confectionery includes candies. candied nuts. chocolates, chewing gum, bubble gum, pastillage. and other confections that are made primarily of sugar. Traditional confectionery goes back to ancient times and continued to be eaten through the Middle Ages into the modern era. At present; MMP Group is producing the sugar confections only in a variety of forms and flavors.
